The Waterloo County Farmers' Market was located near the King St. N. and Weber St. N. intersection, in between Waterloo and St. Jacobs. It was owned by Marie and Gerhard Scheffelmeier who opened the market in 1973. In 2000, the market was sold to Mercedes Corp., owners of the nearby St. Jacob's Farmers Market, Flea Market and Factory Outlet Mall.
