No chemical cleaning agents are used. Between April 21, 2008 and May 16, 2008, The City of Waterloo Water Services Division will be cleaning watermains in the area bound by Beaver Creek Road to the west, Benjamin Road to the north, Weber Street/Parkside Drive to the east, and Bearinger Road to the south (see attached map). This cleaning will be perâ€" formed weekdays, Monday â€" Friday during the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Customers may experience discoloured water in the identified & surrounding areas. The risk of receiving discoloured water is possible at anytime during the project, however there is a higher risk to residents during the day before and day of your watermain cleaning. More information will follow with the delivery of the detailed map and schedule.
