The young swimmer now has a chance to make the Canadian Olympic team that will compete at the Beijing Summer Games. "When you‘re younger, everyone has a little dream about going to the Olympics," she said. "But then at around 10 or 12 you realize there are a lot of people who are faster than you. I never expected to be as far as I am today." It‘s an opportunity Begy never imagined she‘d get. Begy will head to Montreal for the national trials in the beginning of April. She says she hasn‘t felt any pressure yet, mainly because she‘s still pumped up by her finish. "I‘m really excited, too excited for the pressure to set in," she said. "Hopefully I can deal with it when it comes."
