Kâ€"W Little Theatre is holding auditions and a production call for its staging of The Three Musâ€" keteers, by Willis Hall, adapted from the novel by Alexandre Dumas. A lively swashbuckling romp, this tongueâ€"inâ€" cheek version of the classic story follows the story of D‘artagnan, a poor Gascon youth who goes to Paris to join the Musketeers and make his fortune. He is befriended by three of the Musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, and shares in their adventures to foil the evil plans of the Cardinal Richelieu and Milady DeWinter to expose the love affair between Queen Anne and the Duke of Buckingham, discrediting her. Slick, sexy and full of sword fighting, KWLT proudly presents this comic romp of the glory days of France.
