aterloo‘s Ben Shamoon won Whe provincial boxing title in the 69â€"kilogram weight class earlier this month, but the win wasn‘t the highâ€"school student‘s most satisfyâ€" ing moment of the championship weekend. It was a semifinal victory over rival Jordan Letestu, who beat Shamoon in the provincial finals in 2006, that the 17â€"yearâ€"old student at Resurrection Catholic secondary school savours the most. Shamoon lost by four points a year ago, but this time he got the better of Letestu and beat him by the same number of points.
