FRIDAY FLICKS Starts October 5 at 1:30 PM "Touring New Zealand" with Bob Clements Join us in this interesting tour of the North and South Islands HYDRANT TESTING MAINTENANCE PROCGRAM The City of Waterloo Fire Department is conducting scheduled maintenance of fire hydrants. This ongoing program is designed to ensure that the hydrants will operate properly when needed. This years program will involve all hydrants in the city and should be completed by the end of November. This maintenance program is quite routine, however, it may cause some temporary inconveniences such as poor water pressure and in some cases discoloured water. Please check your water before use and if disâ€" coloured water is detected, please open a cold water tap and allow the water to run until it clears. This is a temâ€" porary situation. The City of Waterloo is aware that some residents may be concerned about the water being used as part of this maintenance program, especially in light of the water use restrictions in place this year. The testing of fire hydrants is legislated. Staff will keep water use to a minimum while performing the testing necessary to meet our legislated responsibility. . The City of Waterloo Water Services Staff and the City of Waterloo Fire Department thank you for your coâ€"operation and understanding. Any quesâ€" tions or concerns should be directed to the Water Services Customer Service Representative at 747â€"8613.
