The 2007 budget for water and wastewater services, which reflects the projected cost of providing water and wastewater services in 2007, is available free of charge at the Clerk‘s Office, Main Floor, 100 Regina Street South, Waterloo. The recommended increase is necessary to offset a projected increase in Regional wholesale rates, increased wastewater treatment flows as well as to fund the various projects that the City is undertaking for the purpose of enhancing water quality and improving wasteâ€" water services. The fees and charges proposed in the byâ€"law will not exceed the cost of providing the water and wastewater system to City residents.
