2007 WATERMAIN CLEANING -creGinUUa7rmains is a necessary maintenance procedure that will reduce the num- ber of incidences of discoloured water in your area. This cleaning involves operating hydrants to run water at a high velocity through the watermains to clean them. No chemical cleaning agents are being used. Between April I6, 2007 and May 18, 2007. The City of Waterloo Utilities Division will be cleaning watermains in the area bound by The Conestoga Parkway to the west, Woolwich/Waterloo boundary to the north, Grand River/Kitchener/Waterloo boundary to the east and to the south (see attached map). This cleaning will be per- formed weekdays. Monday - Friday during the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. C us- tomers may experience discoloured water in the identined & surrounding areas.
