This notice outlines the process for applying for funding for your community agency. Presentations to Council The Mayor and Council have set a tentative date of February 5, 2007 (start time to be determined), in the Council Chambers at the Waterloo City Centre, 100 Regina Street South, for community agencies to make their funding requests. At this meeting. your organizaâ€" tion will have an opportunity to meet the City of Waterloo elected officials, make a presentation in supâ€" port of your funding request, and address any questions from the elected officials regarding your report or presâ€" entation. No approvals or actions will take place on this day. Rather, a followâ€"up Council meeting has been tentatively scheduled for February 19, 2007 for Council to review and approve funding. Preparing your presentation The time for individual presentations will be limited in order to allow as many interested agencies as possible to participate. Although we can not confirm the time allotment for each group until all groups have been registered, procedural rules require that the length of your presentations be ten (10) minutes or less. In anticipation of the February 5th date, please send your presentation by January 15, 2007, to the City to the email address listed below. If it can not be sent via email, please provide a CD version to the mailing address listed below.
