The City of Waterloo has initiated a comprehensive study to identify, examine and address traffic concerns raised by residents in the Central/ Albert neighbourhood, generally described as the area bounded by Albert Street, University Avenue, King Street and Bridgeport Road. 1BI Group has been retained to assist the City in this undertaking. This project has followed the requirements of the Municipal.Class Environmental Assessment process (June 2000) and includes assessing the existing and forecasted traffic conditions, identifying the problem areas, developing alternative solutions to address the problems, evaluation of the alternatives, identification of the preâ€" ferred solutions and completion and filing of the Environmental Study report. The final report will be presented to City Council on Monday June 26, 2006, no earlier than 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers.
