Connor Stevenson also won gold in the yellowâ€"belt Grade 2 competition. The Kaizen Judo Club took part in the Ontario Schools Judo Championship May 13 in Toronto and brought home 16 medals. Kaizen Judo brings home 16 medals The Sir John A. Macdonald Highlanders took on the WCI Vikings in the senior boys rugby quarterfinals last week and earned backyard bragging rights with a 12â€"10 decision. Scoring for the Highlanders, in what proved to be a grudge match between the schools with a lot of big hits (pictured above), were Keaton Jones and Bashir Moallim with trys while Rich Lebel converted a kick. Scoring trys for WCI were Dave Haslett and Richard Watson. The Highâ€" landers host the Waterlooâ€"Oxford Crusaders today in the semifinals with a chance for the finals tomorrow.
