Mid- way through the third Luke Rose and Brad Hof- stede each had a goal for Waterloo. Single assists went to Rose. Hofslede. Colin Gardner and Mac For- ristal. Waterloo narrowed the gap to 3-2 before Sarnia scored their fmal marker to put the game out of reach. The next day Waterloo travelled to Stratford where they came away with a 7-2 victory The Wolves gave up a short-handed goal early in the game before scoring seven straight. The Ice Wolves beat the Dundas Blues 5-4 in their first game with Gary Mantz leading the way with a hat- trick. Singles went to Matthew Hanan and Lukas Mihas. The Ice Wolves then beat the Aurora Tigers 11-4. Mantz had another hat- trick. followed by Mihas and Graham Baker with two goals apiece. Singles went to Jacob Barbuto, Colin Hunt, Nick Goran and Blake Mar- tin. The Ice Wolves were knocked out of the tourna- ment after a tight 3-2 loss to the Mountain Wolves.
