'“Ja'miw City of Waterloo 2006 Cash Grants The City of Waterloo wants to hear from groups who wish to make an application for a 2006 Cash Grant, Last year f i tty-one groups were recommended to receive grants totaling $181A83.0ih Cash Grants are available to organizations that serve the citizens of Waterloo in one of the following categories: Sports/Recreation C ommunity Groups/Neighbourhood Associations Festivals Arts & Culture Organizations The intent ofthe program is to provide financial assis- tance to enhance the quality of life in the City of Waterloo by fostering & strengthening community organizations that serve the people of Waterloo. General Eligibility Guidelines: . The Community group must be a non-profit organi- zation with an elected Board of Directors . The Community group must be affiliated with the City of Waterloo in accordance with the C ommunit, Liaison Policy . The Community group's programs or services must serve clearly identified community needs not already adequately addressed by another organiza- tum, be it government, corporate or another non- profit organization .
