Louisette Lanteigne, viceâ€"president of the Columbia Forests Neighâ€" bourhood committee, made up of homeowners who already live in one of the subdivisions developed by Activa, said there is also a lot more at stake with the lands that Activa and other develâ€" opers, including Gies and Townline Estates, are planâ€" ning to build on. Lanteigne â€"requested council to postpone the informal meeting until more information is received from the provincial government in the regards to source groundwater protection. She also told council that there have been endangered birds spotted on some of the properties that Activa hopes to build on along Wilmot Line. "If they section off the area like they have been doing, the birds will all die off," Lanteigne said. Coun. Gary Kieswetter confirmed to Lanteigne that there will be no formal deciâ€" sions made at the upcoming informal meetings.
