The Ghosts placed fifth in the under- 18 National Softball Association World Series 'B' championship held in Chattanooga, Tenn, at the end of July The team battled extreme heat and humidity as well as >strong opposition. and managed to win six of nine games. The Ghosts split their two preliminary games, opening with an 8-0 victory over the Flames from Noblesville Indiana 8-0 and losing to IW;- cousin Elite 9-1. Pitcher Haly Williamson recorded a perfect game in the Noblesville win.
