Watermain Cleaning Update â€" April 27, 2005 The watermain cleaning in the west side of Waterloo which began April 11th has progressed very well. We anticiâ€" pate being done by May Sth. The schedule and map below (also available on the City‘s website www.city.waterâ€" too.on.ca} will allow you to identify when we will be cleaning in your area and when you should be watching care fully for discoloured water. The cleaning operation, starts at 8:00am and ends at 6:00pm on the indicated area day fsee map}. We suggest that you bypass any water treatment or condittoning devices hbecause you will likely receive discoloured water. If necessary, you may continue to use your water at all times during this cleaning program. However, if you notice that your water is starting to discolour, you should discontinue use, wait approximately one hour, then allow a hard. cold water tap to run for a minimum of S minutes and a maximum of 10 mnutes until the water is clear We recommend that you do not drink discoloured water Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
