The Wolves jumped out to a quick lead on a goal by Eric Heibein, assisted by Josh Bester and Phil Leahy. Kanata came back and tied the game in the third period, but Tim Oliver got the eventual game winner with 5:28 left in the contest off of a rebound from a hard shot by Zackary Hedley. The Wolves tightened their defense and had a great goaltending performance from Matthew Weber to close out the game.
