Major Midget Wolves bow out in quarterfinals The Waterloo Wolves Major Midget Triple "A" hockey team came up short in the annual Waterloo Gold Puck tournament, bowing out in the quarterfinals. The Wolves opened the tournament with a 2â€"1 win over the Timmins Majors on goals by Josh Rubenschuh and Nathan Millar. Millar and Rubenschuh also drew assists, with Aaron Ryan notching the other point. The Wolves then lost 3â€"1 to the Toronto Jr. Canadians in one of their first losses of the season. Trevor Martin was the lone goal scorer, with assists going to Jon Taylor and Bill Walkey . In the quarterfinals, the Wolves were bounced out of the tournament after a 3â€"1 loss to the Whitby Wildcats.
