And two local groups have been struck to advoâ€" cate and assess the recreâ€" ation and leisure needs for the 55â€"plus set for the next five to 10 years. The Southern U.S. is struggling to recover after being hit by four hurricanes in only a few weeks, with Council approved a grant to the new group last Februâ€" ary, helping formalize its existence, and providing a city phone number for peoâ€" ple to contact for more information. "We‘re trying to attract people‘s attention," said Tyssen.
