Community Project Day this Saturday The Volunteer Action Centre of Kâ€"W and Area is asking local residents to "catch the spirit" and supâ€" port this year‘s Community Project Day. On Saturday, May 15, teams of volunteers will work throughout the Waterâ€" loo Region to help local charities. doing everything from painting and gardenâ€" ing to cleaning and sorting. This year, over 25 projâ€" ects have been submitted by local agencies. Each of these projects will require a team of up to 8 volunteers workâ€" ing from 9 a.m.â€"1:30 p.m. Volunteers will be asked to meet at Bingemans at 8 a.m. for registration and a light break(ast. Buses will then take the volunteers to the project sites. At 1 p.m. volâ€" unteers will be bused back to Bingemans for a compleâ€" mentary barbecue followed by entertainment.
