But the view got dearer for Kotsopoulos this year as a rare eye condition deared up, and she earmned a berth on the Underâ€"15 team. She can now also claim to be a member of a national champion as the Underâ€"15 won the title at the championships held in Winnipeg last weekend. May Kotsopoulos wins national title with Underâ€"15 team Team No. 3 won the boys squirt major title in the Monday/ The Waterloo Minor Socâ€" cer Association wrapped up their houseâ€"league schedule in July holding champiâ€" onships in various leagues. The No. 3 Squirt team from the Monday/ Wednesday League won the league title last week No. 3 team wins Squirt Major title The Waterloo Chronicle Team of the Week is the Waterloo Wizards Underâ€"11 boys soccer team. The Wizards are the first team from Waterloo Minor Soccer that play in the South Region soccer league. The team, coached by Dave Lesard, plays in the third division with six other first year teams. In May the team entered its first tournament called the Middlesex tournament held in Strathroy, and reached the finals. The Wizards opened the tournament with a 5â€"0 win over St. Thomas. Alex Ullman, Graham Notar Maclean, Kyle Lessard, Alexander Deptotovic and Jason Pixner scored. In their second game, the Wizards tied St. Mary‘s 1â€"1 with Lessard scoring the lone goal. In the last game of the roundâ€"robin portion of the tournament, the Wizards worked their magic again, beating Lonâ€" don 5â€"1. Despotovic led the way with a hatâ€"trick while Pixner and Lessard added singles.
