This was a day of surprisâ€" es for me as I used a digital camera for the first time. The day was gray and unwelcoming, but 1 found to my delight when 1 printâ€" ed those photos, I could produce a more receptive environment than the one I enjoyed a midâ€"morning walk along the high west bank of the Grand River which provided a dramatic view of muted colours and shapes of the watercourse below.
