Major Atom Wolves reach semis At the ninth annual Kawartha Challenge in Peterborough this past weekend the Waterloo Wolves Major Atom Triple "AX‘ hockey team were semiâ€" finalists at their first tournaâ€" ment of the year. In round robin play Waterioo opened the tour: nament with a 4â€"0 win over the North Central TRIPLE "A" Predators. Ethan Fisher opened up the scoring on an assist from Jessica Buttinger Wagner followed that up with an unassisted goal, while Dominic Caiazzo finâ€" ish the scoring on a set up from Spencer MacCormack. Dylan Douglas then scored on a point shot, with the assist going to Devon Wagner. In the Wolves‘ second game, Waterloo defeated the Quinte Red Devils 4â€"1. The Wolves scored all four goals in the second period. Tyler Eckert opened the scoring with other goals going to Jason Watchorn, and Lucas Baleshta with two. Stephanie Snyder earned the shutout. Despite the loss, the Waterloo Wolves Major Atom Triple "A" team had a great tournament, scoring 17 goals while only letting in six over five games.
