The Red and Gold teams both reached the finals of the recent Camâ€" bridge Heritage tournament, which the Reds eventually won, which speaks to the strength of the Underâ€"9 program. It all started back in October 2001, with the efforts of Charlie Foy. The girls attended training sessions weekly through the winâ€" ter and the spring, and with 26 girls attendâ€" ing two teams were formed. Before the tournament win in Cambridge, the Red team was also the runner up a the Woodâ€" stock tournament in June. There are exhiâ€" bition games planned for both teams the rest of the season, which wraps up with the tive title in the disciplines. He also earned two bronze medals in the pursuit race and the fiveâ€"km mass start race.
