In exchange for a threeâ€"hour volunteer shift and attendance at an orientation session (refeshments provided), volutneers will receive three hours of fun, and a great Busker Carnival Tâ€"shirt to wear during his or her shift and to keep. The Festival of Fools is an fundraising event that takes place on Aug. 22, from 8â€"11p.m. Volunteers are needed from 4â€"7:30 p.m. to set up, and then from 11 p.m. to approximately 1 a.m. to take down and clean up the site. Those who volunteer for this position get the added benefit of being able to attend the show from 8â€"11p.m. Volunteers are needed to help barbecue, serve the food, hand out refeshments and clean up once the barbecue is finished. Aug. 24 is Kidz Day at the carnival and there are many activities planned for the day. Volunteers are needed to help get everything set up and ready, and to clean up.
