The City of Waterloo Utilities staff will be cleaning watermains in the area bound- ed by Bridge Street to the West, Colonial Creek to the North, the Grand River to the East, and the City of Kitchener boundary to the South as indicated by the shaded area on the map, This watermain cleaning will begin Sunday, April 29/01 at 10:00 pm, and will be completed on Friday, May ll/Ol at 6:30 am. Cleaning is not scheduled for May 4th and 5th but will resume on May 6th. During watermain cleaning, the water supply may be shut down at different times during the cleaning process. Therefore, we will work between the hours of 10:00 Fm. and 6:30 am. each day to reduce the impact the cleaning has to you, our water customers. However, to ensure water for essential uses, please draw sufT1cient water into con- tainers for use during these hours Residents in the surrounding area may also experience rusty-coloured water which will eventually clear. Please check your water supply before use.
