"Oh Yeah, I‘m glad to do it," said Martin. Another major partner in the blitz is St. Andrew‘s Church. Parishoners held a supermarket solicitation of five supermarkets on Feb. 10., where they raised 11,700 kiloâ€" grams of potatoes and $1,500 cash. The surplus cash is used to purchase the St. Jacobs potatoes after what is raised in February is gone, usually by May, said Hunsberger.
