This revenue was realized through inâ€"house awareness campaigns and participation in The Creative Trust, _ a _ coâ€"operative fundraising initiative of 23 arts organizations. Jesse McQuay, Geordie McRuer and Pete Oldridge had only good things to say about the evening. "I found her to be more honest and intellectual than I imagined her to be," said McQuay. Oldridge added that although Hawk wasn‘t his favourite on the show, she was "someone who is easy to relate to." McRuer commented that although he enjoyed Hawk‘s performance, he "would have liked for her to say ‘Tapioca‘ a few more times." "The success of the 2000 season validates our mission and encourages our comâ€" mitment to continue to proâ€" duce and develop the stories that reflect our lives as Canadians," Stewart conâ€" cluded, expressing sincere gratitude to both the memâ€" bers and the incredible corps of volunteers who contribute invaluable experâ€" tise and time (over 11,000 hours annually}.
