As a point of information, anyone who wishes to place a wreath at either of the Cenotaphs on November lllh may do so by calling the K-W Poppy Office at 885-l001. A 14" wreath will cost $4500 and a 20" wreath will be $70.00. This year we are distributing in excess of 200,000 poppies in the household mailing, plus 60 to 70,000 poppies to the elementary and high schools. The pri- mary purpose of this mass distribution In to be sure everyone has a poppy to proudly wear in honour of those who paid the supreme sacrifice in World War I. World War ll, and the Korean War, Wearing a poppy will also honour those of our servicemen who are still serving tn various countries, and above all. those who still suffer with disabilities, along with their dependents.
