Jennifer Lapierre entertained the audience during a magical chemistry display at the University of Waterloo‘s annual Science Day last Saturday. Prof. Mike Chong led his cohorts in complex chemical reactions that resulted in surprising results, and delighted children. The Waterloo Historical Society â€" will host its annual meeting Nov, 14 at the Victoria Park pavilion. The Waterloo Historical Society is one of the province‘s oldest local histoâ€" ty organizations. It has served the citizens of Waterloo _ County _ and Region since 1912 by researching, collecting, archiving, displaying and publishing the history of the area and its people. The society‘s members come from the region‘s cities, small towns and farms repâ€" resenting many interests and backgrounds. The pubâ€" lic is always welcome at WHS meetings and there is no charge.
