TP;E CITY OF EI Waterlioo Notice is herby given that an application is being made to the Council of the Corporation of the City of Waterloo for an exemption to the City Noise Byâ€"law. The applicant is the City of Waterloo Utilities, 100 Regina St. S., Waterloo, who are requesting an exemption to enable the operation of construction equipment from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday inclusive from August 21, 2000 to September 15, 2000. In addition, where services (water/sewer) must be interrupted an exemption is required to allow work to take place overnight and on Sundays. The work at night and on Sundays will be limited to the minimum required equipment to perform water/sewer service reconnection/replacement. These exemptions are requested to reduce traffic disruption duration and minimize disruption to water and wastewater service. Interested parties should attend the Council Meeting, which will hear the application at 7:00 p.m. on August 21, 2000. The proper disposal method for yard waste is the following: * Grass clippings should be left on the lawn to decompose, be composted or dropped more information on proper disposal of yard waste.
