We use ll regularly and my boys would greatly miss that, We need more green space in Waterloo. I am very dismayed and dis- appointed with the Grand River Conservation Authority ll just seems that all of our nat- ural green area is getting eaten up by developers and that is one reason why we chose to live in north Waterloo was because it was on the edge of the green belt. It is getting developed too much and we really need to keep our green natural area for future genera- tions. I am scared. My children are crying all the time, “Where We need more green space I'm dismayed with the GRCA Jess Hall are the animals gorng to go? Where are all the birds going to go?" We are losing natural resources and I'm just very ds- appomted in the GRCA's deer Mon, I really hope the my will buy that land and keep " for the residents of north Waterloo and surrounding area. I think they should preserve Laurel Creek Conservation Area as it is. There is not a lot of green space like this any- where m the area and as a resi- dent of Laurelwood I really enjoy tt. That IS one of the mam reasons 1 moved here, Irwin Etcovitch Yes, I think they should conserve the land as green space. A wonderful thing about Waterloo is this park and I dont think they should try to get rid ofit. We are going to have to find some other ways of helping It's why I moved here Isstruyer Rd. Living in [his area has been wonder- ful. They've developed ll far too much as u is and I really thmk the any should be domg some- thing about it. I think a lot of the residents in Jus particular area agree with that. I feel that this land Is something that once it is gone, it is gone. lt is over-used now as far as people are con- cerned and if they keep build- ing on u, u 1sjust going to be a disgrace to anything Io do with conservation. So I Sincerely hope that the city will step in and do some- thing about this, The GRCA should take a look at its own organization. A lot of organizations have downsized. I am a nurse - I work for a community nursing agency - and we certainly have downsized considerably: them keep " the way u IS Darlene Koster I definitely tlunk thes land should be kept for conserv‘r tion purposes. _ I am just wondering what they have done? There must be other ways of them ralsmg money. There may be fundraisers they can do or perhaps a user fee to use this space. But they have lo have other ways of getting money rather than destroying the unsung land, There must be other ways of raising money Sandy Davidson
