The Waterloo Warriors played host to the annual Nai. smith Classic Basketball Tournament this homecoming weekend. The defending champions broke out of the gates early with a convincing 95-67 win over Point Park College of Pittsburgh. Mike laverschnik was the leading Warrior with 26 points. In the semi-final game, the War. riots started the game flat and never recovered. They fell 73-58 to OUA rival Windsor.
