Any person may attend the Public Meeting and/or make a written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to the proposed Zoning Byâ€"Law Amendment. If you wish to make a presentation to Council, please call 747â€"8549 so that the necessary arrangements can be made to place you on the agenda. In addition, a written summary of the presentation should be filed prior to the meeting. If a person or public body that files a notice of appeal of a decision of the Corporation of the City of Waterloo in respect of the Zoning Byâ€"law Amendment does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Corporation of the City of Waterloo before the proâ€" posed Zoning Byâ€"law Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. The applicant is requesting an amendment to the Zoning Byâ€"Law that would amend the zoning for the subject lands as shown on the Key Map from Medium Density Three ‘MD3® to Medium Density Three ‘MD3‘ with a site specific exemption to increase the maximum density from 36 units per hectare to 70 units per hectare. The applicant wishes to construct seven townhouse units with a selfâ€"contained one bedroom apartment (accessory unit) in the basement of each townhouse unit, resulting in a total of fourteen residential units. These calendars will be distributed to ali Grade 2 and Grade 3 children in the City of Waterloo. The calendars will feature colouring book style safety messages for each month of the year along with monthly calendar pages. This program aids the Waterloo Fire Department with their onâ€"going safety education programs in the City of Waterloo schools. The Waterloo Fire Department thanks both the Optimist Club Twin Cities Waterloo Region and Union Gas for their support in the promotion of fire safety in our community. The Corporation of the City of Waterloo has acquired for industrial purposâ€" es, through an Agreement of Purchase and Sale, approximately 2.5 acres of land located on the southeast corner of Bridge Street and Northfield Drive. TAKE NOTICE THAT: 5. At an open meeting held on October 25, 1999 Waterloo City Council passed a resolution declaring the subject lands surplus. When an offer to purchase industrial land is received from a potential purâ€" chaser, a report is submitted to Council requesting approval of any transacâ€" tion. At a meeting to be held on Monday, November 22, 1999, in the Council Chambers, Council will hear any person who wishes to speak to the disposiâ€" tion of industrial lands and who has registered as a delegation with the City Clerk‘s Office (747â€"8549) no later than 9:00a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 1999. CITY OF WATERLOO PUBLIC NOTICE _ DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY The Council of the Corporation of the City of Waterloo has offered these lands for sale to be used for industrial purposes. The subject lands will be sold at a price consistent with an industrial pricing schedule approved by Council from time to time. Such schedule is available in the Clerk‘s Office. Any potential transaction will be scheduled to close in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Pursuant to the provisions of The Municipal Act, no appraisal of the subject lands is required. We are accepting applications from RESPONSIBLE, COMMUNITYâ€"MINDED individuals for fullâ€"time and spare crossing guards at various locations throughout the City for mornings, noon and after school starting now.
