Application in Conjunction: N/A hewed [ C icll 3i s The City of Waterloo initiated general amendments to the Flexible Residential ‘FR‘ Zone in early 1999. The general amendments are intended to ‘fine tune‘ the existing ‘FR‘ Byâ€"law, completing a number of minor housekeeping amendments. The amendments mainly deal with, but are not limited to: (a.) the configuration of structures in the rear yard to provide private amenity space; (b.) the ability to attach a rear yard garage to the main structure (ie. house); and (c.), the ability to locate uses withing the second storey of a rear yard garage. At this time, the Flexible Residential ‘FR‘ Zone applies to four subdivisions in the City of Waterloo: Columbia Forest One; Clair Hills; Doerner; and, Eastbridge On The Grand â€" Phase 2. In addition to the general amendments to the ‘FR‘ Byâ€"law, the various site specific zoning byâ€"laws for the above subdivisions were reviewed. Minor housekeeping amendments were also made to these site specific byâ€"laws, which mainly dealt with wording clarifications. f Byâ€"law No. 99â€"121 amends Byâ€"law No. 1418, being a Zoning Byâ€"law controlling land use development within the City of Waterloo. The purpose of the Byâ€"law is: * Section A: Amends Byâ€"law No. 1418 by deleting Section 36B and replacing it with a new Flexible Residential ‘FR‘ zone. * Section B: Amends Byâ€"law No. 98â€"77 of the Clair Hills Subdivision by deleting the said Byâ€"law and replacing it with an identical byâ€"law except for minor housekeeping/wording amendments regarding setbacks from Erbsville Road and Columbia Street. The amendments also allow for the inclusion of the regulations contained within Byâ€"law No. 99â€"83. * Section C: Amends Byâ€"law No. 98â€"152 of the Columbia Forest One Subdivision which deletes the said Byâ€"law and replaces it with an identical byâ€"law except for minor housekeeping/wording amendments which bring the provisions of 98â€"152 into conformity with the new Flexible Residential ‘FR zone * Section D: Amends Byâ€"law No. 97â€"150 of the Eastbridge On The Grand â€" Phase 2 Subdivision which deletes the said Byâ€"law and replaces it with an identical byâ€"law except for minor housekeeping/wording amendments regarding setbacks from University Avenue * Section E: Amends Byâ€"law No. 98â€"58 of the Eastbridge On The Grand â€" Phase 2 Subdivision which deletes the said Byâ€"law and replaces it with an identical byâ€"law except for minor housekeeping/wording amendments which bring the provisions of 98â€"58 into conformity with the Flexible Residential ‘FR‘ zone If you require further information or have any questions please contact the City of Waterloo Development Services at 747â€"8543 TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the City of Waterloo passed Byâ€"law No. 99â€"121 on the 30th day of August, 1999, under section 34 of the Planning Act, AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Munscipal Board in respect of the byâ€"law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the City of Waterloo not later than the 28th day of September, 1999, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the byâ€"law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by a fee of $125.00, made payable to the Minister of Finance, as prescribed under the Ontaric Municipal Board Act. The City of Waterloo Traffic and Parking Byâ€"law restricts parking on all City streets to a maximum of three (3) consecutive hours. Various streets within the City have one or two hour parking restrictions and are posted as such Vehicles are prohibited from being on City streets in Waterloo at any time between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. This offence is referred to as being "parked on a highway between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.". Signage for this parking restriction is posted at the City limits of Waterloo along all major roadways entering the municipality. Overnight parking on City Streets is prohibited at all times. It is a very narrow window of opportunity for maintenance to occur, and therefore it is important that streets be clear of vehicles Provincial legislation allows municipalities to post these parking restrictions at their City limits so they do not incur the cost of installing and maintaining signage on every City street The City appreciates and anticipates your coâ€"operation in the adherence of these byâ€"laws _ CITY OF WATERLOO â€" WOOLWICH STREET _ ROAD CLOSURE & DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY TAKE NOTICE THAT: 1. If the valve is located in your driveway and repair is necessary, it will likely require excavating an area around the valve. An unsightly patch could result in your brand new driveway if you do not call for an inspection. If an excavation in a paved driveway cannot be avoided, we will patch the area to the highest standard; however, we will not replace the entire driveway. Please call us three weeks prior to paving your driveway so that we may inspect any valve which may be present. Do not assume your driveway contractor will arrange this. Many times they don‘t.
