30 THE CITY OF [i',:'"-:,',,';:::',:,-):),? Waterloo The City of Waterloo Traffic and Parking By-law restricts parking on all City streets to a maximum of three (3) consecutive hours. Various streets within the City have one or two hour park- ing restrictions and are posted as such. Vehicles are prohibited from being on City streets in Waterloo at any time between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 aan. This offence is referred to as being "parked on a highway between 2:30 am. and 6:00 aan.", Signage for this parking restriction is posted at the City limits of Waterloo along all major roadways entering the municipality. Overnight parking on City Streets is prohibited at all times It is a very narrow window of opportunity for mainte- nance to occur, and therefore it is important that streets be clear of vehicles. Provincial legislation allows municipalities to post these parking restrictions at their City limits so they do not incur the cost of installing and maintaining signage on every City street. The City appreciates and anticipates your co-operation in the adherence of these by-laws. The watering of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs or any other outdoor plant by means of hose or other attachment connect- ed to the municipal water system is prohibited except as ful- lows: At premises with municipal addresses having even numbers may water between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 pm. and 11:00 pm. on even number calendar days.
