Council was to vote on possibly approvâ€" ing a land swap between the city and Heathshore Homes Ltd. of Guelph at Monâ€" day night‘s regular council meeting that would have seen the city swap approxiâ€" mately 1/2 acre of land at the north end of Old Post Park to Heathshore in exchange for another 1/2 acre of land located at the north end of a proposed nearby subdiviâ€" Beechwood park land swap decision delayed y sion. Heathshore currently hopes to build a 30â€"house subdivision on a vacant eightâ€" acre lot located immediately north of Old Post Park, east of Beechlawn Drive and west of Old Post Road. Among other things, the land swap would allow the city to enhance the green space at the north end of the proposed subdivision that currently allows local res idents to walk between Beechlawn Drive and Old Post Road and helps link two nearby neighbourhood athletic facilities.
