The administrative building is most likely the oldest structure on the side dating to 1861. This building fronts on Erb Street West and is a two storey masonry with brick detailing and gothic arched attic windows. The building was used as a coopers shop (barrel making) with barrel and lumber storage and in 1950 was occupied as a machine shop. In 1981, this building was renovated as the administration offices for the distillery. The maintenance building is a one story brick building with walls that have engaged pilasters, corbelling and spandrels with segmentally arched double hung windows. This building was used for the foundry and stables. The subject lands are municipally known as 83 Erb Street West on the southeast corner of Erb Street West and Euclid Avenue, and include the former administration and maintenance buildings for "J.E. Seagram‘s Distillery". The lands were recently purchased by Sunvest Realty and are now home of ReMax Real Estate Architecture to be designated includes all facades of the administration building and administration building.
