Residents are reminded that all Waterloo leaves and yard waste will be composted. Legives will not be collected in the regular garbage. Mixing leaves in with regular garbage will result in regular garbage not being picked up. All leaves, brush and other organic yard waste can also be taken to the Waterloo Landfill at 925 Erb St. W. for composting. Thank you for participating in our composting programs. In 1995 we picked up 1,854 tonnes of leaves. Every person in charge of a dog must clean up any mess left by their dog on private and public property. An easy way to "stoop and scoop" is to carry a plastic bag with you when walking your dog.
