The musital is a highâ€" energy comical love story that centres around the lives of a missionary, played by Sarah Babb, and the gambler, played by Steve Slagle, with whom she falls in love. The lead show girl, Miss Adelaide, is portrayed by the brilliant actress, Jana Reidel. This multiâ€"talented musical is a mustâ€"see! You don‘t want to miss this very enter» taining show that is fun for everyone involved. It features a range of talented students from Grades 9 through OAC and includes singing, dancing, acting and instrumental brilliance and we haven‘t even mentioned the excellent techniâ€" cal crew whose creative touch to the sets, lights and sound add to the delightful show. So you better hurry and pick up a set of tickets for your whole family. The show runs from November 29 to December 2 and costs only $7 for children or students with a fee card and $10 for adults. They played a really good game and finished a strong last half. Meghan Hachn did an excellent job of holding Southâ€" wood‘s top scorer to six points. On the crossâ€"country front, the junior boys placed third at CWOSSA. Notable runners include Adam Peterson for his dedication and positive outlook, Allison Adcoe for her outâ€" standing performance at CWOSSA placing in the top 10 and Ryan Melcher and Alastair Lawrence for their consistent performances. In other areas at Bluevale, university applicaâ€" tions are finally out so everyone who needs one, be sure to pick it up and get it in by Nov. 30. On a fun and final note, Bluevale just had their one week gladiators competition. It ran for five days with a different event each day, including powerball, eliminator and the joust. It was a litâ€" tle crazy but a lot of fun with a lot of spirited knights participating in the events. The Intraâ€" mural committee encourages students at Blueâ€" vale to be active knights.
