The subject lands comprise part of a land exchange between the City of Waterloo and adjacent property owners to close a portion of Wismer Street and to facilitate the construction and opening of the proposed extension of University Avenue in a northeasterly direction from its existing intersection with Pastern Trail. The portion of Wismer Street to be closed (Part 27, Plan 58Râ€" 9852) will be conveyed to the abutting property owner, Piller Sausages & Delicatessens Limited, Part 7, Plan 58Râ€"9852 will also be conveyed to Piller Sausages & Delicatessens Limited to provide access to and from its lands from University Avenue.
