It will be collected separately on certain garbage days to be recycled by composting. Examples of yard waste include: branches and tree trimmings, plants, weeds and spring rakings. As in 1993, fresh cut grass clippings will not be collected by the City. Please grasscycle by leaving clippings on the lawn when mowing. When will the new yard waste collections be? (mark the dates on your calendar!) On your regular garbage day: * weeks beginning August 14, September 11, November 27 Also, yard waste can be placed out with your bagged leaves in the fall on the two Saturdays specified for your area.
