If this area is selected for the 1997 event, the Twins will act as the host team and Lynch relishes the opportunity. "We will be making our official bid presentation in Sioux City, lowa, in 1995. There are 48 teams in the tourâ€" nament. All teams must qualify through an area tournament, or they must win their respective travel league. Spots are also availâ€" able for wildcard positions. In the event a qualifying team cannot attend, Wildcard entries are offered to the best available teams which did not qualify.
