The pair also won a team silver medal as well. Earlier this season Butler captured her second consecutive junior Canadian Women‘s crossâ€"country championship in Halifax. Lorentz, a Grade 13 student, had a banner year between the posts for the 10 touchdowns this season and also received the Doug Shuh Award for the top player in the 14â€"team league. This was Mitchell‘s last season of high school football, but he hopes to make his mark at the university level when he attends Wilfrid Laurier University next year..
