Perhaps you might not know that our present public school board is thinking about an increase of over 11 per cent for 1991 â€" that‘s after a 15.6 per cent increase last year. In 1980 the public school board spent approximately $119 million; this year 1991, they propose spending $342 million for a less than 10 per cent increase in pupil population.
