The threesome plans a brutal escape and make their way across the African desert to the rebel camp. The nice rebels greet them as heroes as does rebel leader Sundata. Not being too smart, Nikolai ignores his nagging doubts about his mission and tries to bump off Sundata. As is expected our "hero" is unsuccessful and he captured by the rebels and later tortured. The Soviets soon rescue the mindless hunk, unaware of his identity. When mean ol‘ Vortek discovers Nikolai is more of a wimp than a winner, he orders him executed. Outwitting his captors, Nikolai flees to the desert and takes up residence with a bunch of friendly bushmen. Too bad direction by Jospeh Zito lingered on boring moments rather than beautiful African dessert scenery. there are no plans for changes.
