The end result: Ron Nicol, 50, will take over as field manager for the 1988 Interâ€"City Fastball League season and one of the players under his scrutiny will be Musselman, 32, who has agreed to play anywhere Nicol assigns him. The club will work out twice weekly, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 10 p.m., until they can move outside. Players who think they can contribute to the club are invited to try out. "We‘re really looking to improve the ball club this season," said Nicol in an interview Monday.
