An "All Canadian" series of concerts will celeâ€" brate the 58th season of the Kitchenerâ€"Waterloo Community Concert Association. Featured will be the Guy Lombardo Royal Canadian Orchestra on Oct. 4; the Elmer Iseler Singers on Dec. 6; duoâ€"pianists John Arpin and Catherine Wilson on Feb. 2, 1989; and local tenor Paul Frey on May 8, 1989. Admission to the four concerts is by membership subscription and the annual membership drive is being held from Monday, April 18 to Saturday, April 23. Membership subscereptions will be availâ€" able at Kitchener Market Square during that week â€" Monday to Wednesday fofg 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $40 for adults, $25 for students and $95 for a family subscription. Membership subscriptions are also available from the Centre in the Square box office. The Guy Lombardo Royal Canadian Orchestra is conducted by Dick Wickman, a veteran band leader and musician. Wickman also produced and directed a musical variety show for a CBC television affiliate. "I‘ve always idolized Lombardo‘s music," Wickâ€" man said. He works with musicians selected for their appreciation of the Lombardo style and musical expertise. They are involved in radio and television broadcasting for the Canadian Broadcastâ€" ing Corporation and were Juno nominees for their album "Serenade in Harmony" recorded with the Netherlands Chamber Choir. They can be heard in the "Agnes of God*" film soundtrack. The group of 20 is conducted by Dr. Elmer Iseler, an Order of Canada recipient, and since their beginning in 1979 have become internationally known.
