The executives of the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce have set goals and objectives for the upcoming year. In the introduction to the chamber‘s annual report, President Jim Harper outlines the six objectives, which are subject to change at Thursâ€" day‘s annual general meeting. The first priority, according to the introduction, is "to continue to raise the profile of the Waterloo Chamber with our members, the business communâ€" ity and the general public‘. The chamber will also "speak out on issues affecting our members at all levels of government on a timely and proâ€"active basis‘". Another goal is to "‘develop and maintain an efficient, motivated, and coâ€"ordinated staff and team of volunteers."
