Carolyn McNeice, Alison Grant. Allison Biggs. Tracey Curry. Karen Nanson and Tara Rutherford. They will be participating in the closing ceremonies at the Winter Olympics. Congratulations are also to be given to Christine Hough. Christine has made it for the Canadian Skating Team and will be participating in the Olympics Friday night there is a casino and dance. The casino is from 7â€"9 p.m. and the dance is from 8:30â€"11 p.m. Tickets are $3 in advance and $4 at the door. You won‘t want to miss this spectacular event, so buy your ticket and come on out!! Last Thursday. to begin "Olympic Week" W.C.1. held the opening ceremonies. This was no ordinary ceremony because we had the "TRAMP CHAMPS" come to perform for us Students involved in varsity sports have been very busy: The girls volleyball team participated in a tournament at Bishop Strachan on the weekend. Special mention goes to Zoe Bristowe and Jocelyn Rutherford for their strong play. The boys junior basketball team played twice this week against Ridley and Toronto French School. Ten of SJK‘s top downhill racers travelled with Mr. Thompson today to Mount St. Louis to participate in the Rosseau Invitational. Congratulations to Stephen Keith who won Most Outstandâ€" ing Wrestler as well as his weight class at the Collingwood Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 16th. The team travels tomorrow to Riverdale High School in Montreal for a tournament. They will also be spending a day with the Canadian Olympic Wrestling Coach Yesterday, Jan. 26 was the second of three full activity days in Elora with the Junior Campus. The day was enjoyed by all as we participated in a joint chapel service, skating and various outdoor House competitions. Many thanks to SJK‘s Parents Association who provided lunch. P.
